The Role Can you stay calm under pressure and thrive in challenging environments? We need resilient individuals to support students with severe SEMH who struggle in traditional classrooms. In this outreach role, you’ll travel across Thanet and Canterbury, delivering structured learning resources to students in their homes or foster placements. Expect difficult days—some students may display verbal aggression and, at times, physical outbursts. However, if you can push through the challenges, the rewards are significant. You'll be making a life-changing impact on young people who need it most. What You’ll Need
* Strong resilience & patience – this role isn’t easy.
* A valid driving licence & access to a vehicle – travel is required, but mileage is covered.
* Background in SEMH, behaviour support, or youth work – preferred but not essential.
* A problem-solving mindset – adaptability is key.
Support & Training Though the job is tough, you’ll have full backing from the school trust and our agency. Training in de-escalation, behaviour strategies, and safeguarding will ensure you feel prepared. Why Apply?
* Directly improve the lives of vulnerable students.
* Be part of a dedicated support network.
* All work-related travel expenses reimbursed.
* A dynamic role where no two days are the same
