You will play a crucial role in inspiring and educating students, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for different religious traditions and ethical perspectives. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality Religious Studies lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Prepare students for examinations, ensuring they meet curriculum standards and achieve their academic potential. Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attainment. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). A degree in Religious Studies or a related field. Proven experience teaching Religious Studies at the secondary school level. Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum for Religious Studies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment. Flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for teaching.
