U-Educate are currently seeking passionate and qualified Religious Studies Teachers to join our team, teaching across secondary schools in Southampton.
You will play a crucial role in inspiring and educating students, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for different religious traditions and ethical perspectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality Religious Studies lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Prepare students for examinations, ensuring they meet curriculum standards and achieve their academic potential.
• Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attainment.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• A degree in Religious Studies or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Religious Studies at the secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum for Religious Studies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• The ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for teaching.
