We are looking for a Contract Compliance Officer to work as part of a team in the Resources and Waste Management Service. The County Council manages several contracts to deliver the sustainable management of waste in the county.
As part of the team, you will work with colleagues in the development of systems to manage waste disposal services, including site inspections, meetings with and working with contractors, undertaking audits, and site visits to waste facilities.
In addition, you will help with the development of waste management initiatives with partner organisations. You will also provide assistance in the processing of accounts and maintaining databases.
Good communication skills, initiative and judgement are required along with either the relevant qualifications (or willingness to work towards) or relevant experience.
This role is office based in County Hall; however, the County Council are working towards a Hybrid approach.
The successful applicant will be required to travel for site visits and appointments.
