Your Role: One-to-One and Group Support: Provide tailored support to students with behavioural needs, ensuring they feel understood, supported, and motivated. Promote Positive Behaviour: Implement strategies to promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and social skills development. Collaborate with Staff and Parents: Work alongside teaching staff, SEN teams, and parents/carers to create consistent support strategies for each student. Create a Safe Environment: Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere for all students. Track Progress: Monitor and report on student progress, ensuring effective communication with teaching staff and parents. Requirements: Experience working with challenging behaviour or in a similar support role (e.g., youth worker, teaching assistant, mentor) is desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. Strong emotional resilience, patience, and empathy.
