We’re looking for a hardworking, driven and passionate candidate to join our team as we get set for further growth in 2024, helping our owners to maintain their high quality properties, and to ensure our guests receive the very best customer service whilst staying with us. Reporting to the National Head of Maintenance and Compliance, you will conduct property surveys, generate accurate quotes, coordinate project execution with technicians, and provide detailed financial and KPI reporting for the survey department. As a Property Surveyor, you will use your strong communication skills, have a keen eye for detail, and a results-oriented approach. This role has earning potential of £47,000 per annum. Main duties and key result areas: Survey and Quoting: Complete three property surveys per day, assessing damage, generating comprehensive reports, and developing accurate quotes. Ensure quotes are thorough and competitive, based on survey findings. Document and photograph findings to support assessments and maintain clear, accessible records. Client Communication: Communicate with property owners to review and secure approval of quotes. Address client questions, concerns, and provide expert guidance to facilitate the decision-making process. Foster positive relationships with clients through clear, professional, and responsive communication. Project Coordination: Coordinate with a team of technicians to schedule and execute projects based on approved quotes. Provide technicians with detailed instructions and project scope to ensure smooth execution. Oversee project timelines, quality standards, and troubleshoot issues that arise to maintain project efficiency and satisfaction. Financial and KPI Reporting: Track, report, and analyse key financial metrics, including revenue generated from surveys and quote approvals. Monitor KPIs for the survey department, such as survey completion rate, project turnaround time, and client satisfaction scores. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on financial performance and KPIs, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies to enhance department efficiency and profitability. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all survey activities adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Maintain accurate, organised records of all surveys, quotes, client communications, and project updates. To be considered for this role you MUST have: Full UK driving license (if you have a disability, we will explore reasonable adjustments with you). Strong communication skills and client-focused approach Ability to manage multiple surveys, quotes, and project coordination duties daily Proficiency in report generation, KPI tracking tools, and relevant software Proven experience in insurance surveying, property assessment, or a related field.
