What you would be doing
In this role, you will take on the vital responsibility of leading our data and integration efforts as part of the Digital Products Leadership team. You will focus on developing and implementing tools and platforms that harness the power of data to enhance research and educational initiatives across the institution. You will cultivate a culture of collaboration, ensuring that various departments can effectively access and utilise data to inform their decision-making processes.
Your expertise will guide the integration of advanced data solutions, enabling Imperial to maintain its position at the forefront of academic excellence. You will be instrumental in fostering partnerships with key stakeholders, driving the development of best practices. Through your leadership, you will contribute to the transformative impact of data in supporting the College\\\'s mission and vision, shaping the future of data management at Imperial while facilitating groundbreaking research and enriching learning experiences for our students and faculty.
What we are looking for
* Proven background in data management and analytics.
* Experience leading data-driven projects.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools, programming languages (e.g., SQL, Databricks, Python, R), and database management systems; familiarity with data governance best practices.
* Ability to develop and implement data strategies aligned with institutional goals.
* Leadership Qualities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Ethical Mindset: Commitment to ethical data usage, privacy, and security; understanding of relevant regulatory requirements.
* Adaptability: Capacity to thrive in dynamic environments and guide teams through data integration and management transformations.
