We are looking for a Band 5 Community Staff Nurse to join one of our well-established Community Nursing teams based at Abbey Court, Tunbridge Wells to support the development of this service.
As a well-established team, we can offer experience and knowledge to support your growth. The service operates seven days a week from 08:00 - 16:00, with occasional late shifts of 10:00 - 18:00 on a rotational basis.
Tunbridge Wells is easily accessible from Heathfield, East Sussex via the A267, East Grinstead via A264, and Cranbrook via the A21 within 30 minutes. The team supports patients from GP practices within the Tunbridge Wells PCN Primary Care Network (PCN). This PCN covers Pembury, Langton Green, Frant, Bidborough Ridge and surrounding areas.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Community Staff Nurse to join our caring and progressive team in Maidstone. You will work as part of a close-knit team who are dedicated to the health and wellbeing of people in Tunbridge Wells. Tunbridge Wells is made up of a diverse patient group with complex needs.
Community Staff Nurses make a difference by ensuring our services are proactive and patient-focused, helping to keep people at home and independent for longer. Our district nursing teams are closely aligned with local Primary Care Networks, to make sure patient care is holistic and joined up. We believe in treating the whole person, not just the condition, so we take time to get to know our patients.
Car owner/driver essential, subject to the provisions of the Equality Act (2010).
Additional Working Pattern: Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Working hours are between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday with rotational weekends.

Person Specification
Experience
* Experience of recent community/acute healthcare gained through education or work experience placement or previous employment.
Knowledge
* Awareness of professional issues and recent developments in the NHS. Knowledge of up-to-date clinical practice.
Skills and abilities
* Sound communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written). Ability to organise own work. Ability to cope with change. Ability to use own initiative.
Personal attributes
* Ability to motivate and organise others to ensure best practice. Ability to work under pressure. Valid driving licence and access to a car for work purposes.
Ability to manage
* Able to support the implementation of local and national agenda for health under the guidance of the team lead / ward manager. Ability to prioritise care delivery in a professional manner, taking into account Trust policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* Registered Healthcare Professional with relevant Professional body (1st Level Nurse/ NMC). Degree in a health relevant subject or willingness to complete a degree (within 3 years of appointment).
