Role Overview: Located in St Leonards-on-Sea, this Specialist school is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their secondary and primary departments. They are looking for individuals who are innovative, enthusiastic, and empathetic towards children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Responsibilities: Collaborate within a tutor team to support pupils in both classroom and outdoor learning environments. Implement a tailored curriculum designed for vulnerable and hard-to-reach children. Effectively manage pupils in various settings, indoors and outdoors. Pursue coaching qualifications and outdoor skills development as part of continuous professional development (CPD). Engage in reflective practice to enhance pupil outcomes. Requirements: Excellent communication skills. Ability to manage pupils with diverse and complex needs. Inspire and motivate pupils to embrace learning. Maintain a calm, consistent demeanour with high expectations. Adhere to school structures, policies, and procedures consistently. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30/08:45am to 15:00/15:30pm, term time only. Specific working hours to be discussed at interview and agreed upon successful appointment.
