We have anexciting opportunity for a Specialist Speech & LanguageTherapist to join our small and friendly clinical team. We offer a4 day working week with full time pay and conditions and a careerdevelopment package.

Salary: Up to £53,200 pro rata (dependent onexperience) plus £3000 Welcome Bonus and Relocation package £3000.(Relocation package dependent/ agreed based ondistance) (Welcome Bonus is payable as one payment of £1,500after completion of one month and one further payment of£1,500 upon completion of your final probation period. Hours: 37.5 hours per week,Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 4.00pm (Part Time will beconsidered)
Contract: Permanent – TermTime only. There may be scope for this role to be a full-timecontract (52 weeks) if this is your preference, please get in touchto discuss.

About the role
We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to joinour in-house Clinical Team at The Tower School based in Essex.Working collaboratively with the site, you will deliver bespokeassessment and intervention plans for pupils with developmentaltrauma, autism, ADHD and SEMH needs, this is an exciting andcreative role forming an integral part of our small and friendlyteam, including Occupational Therapist, Psychotherapist and TherapyAssistant. We are an ambitious clinical team workingcollaboratively with education to provide creative and individualinterventions for our pupils.
Working withinoverall framework of the service policies and procedures, you willbe supporting the integration of the specific service in the day today running of each provision i.e., standardised assessments andclinical services. A key aspect of the role will be to deliver thewellbeing and clinical rainbow strategy at a universal,enhanced and specialist level to support our wider teams in meetingour young people’s needs in line with set Education, Health andCare Plans (EHCP).

Essential Criteria:
* Recognised Speech & Language Therapydegree
* Valid and up to date HCPCRegistration
* Registered member ofRCSLT
* Previous experience of paid or voluntarywork within a trauma or complex needs setting
* Experience within the specialist client group. (complexcommunication issues relating to autism, including languagedisorder, dyspraxia, sensory impairment, learningdisabilities/difficulties and associated challengingbehaviour) (Essential)
* Clear and concise report writing relating toclinical and research activities.
* Experienceof multi-professional work with teams or services within thedesignated speciality preferred.
* Ability towork independently
* Hold a full UK drivinglicence, with access to acar (Desirable)
