Job summary The Data Protection Officer (DPO) will be the Trust's subject matter expert on all aspects of data protection. They will be the recognised authority and advisor on data protection matters, acting in the interest of the data subject. They will ensure the Trust's compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), Data Protection Act 2018 and Network & Information Systems Regulations. As an expert in this field, the Data Protection Officer is responsible for driving the strategic development of Information Governance across complex areas of clinical and corporate service, and will work with autonomy to advise leadership in the management and delivery of the Information Governance agenda in support of the Trust's business and service objectives.
