This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SME Finance Director to move across to a thriving business with a strong balance sheet or, for an ambitious Financial Controller/Finance Manager to make their first step into the Finance Director role.
Eamont Holdings is a group of companies comprised of three separate divisions focussed on the manufacture, supply, and distribution of electronics. This role will report to the CEO and Chairman of the group and will be wholly responsible for the group finances alongside the management of several operational departments. To be successful in this role you will act as a partner to the CEO to ensure the group's strategic objectives are met, as well as highlight potential risks and opportunities both internally and externally.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Oversight of the accounting function for the group entities including:
2. Monthly management accounts.
3. Annual statutory accounts.
4. Treasury management.
5. Budgeting & Forecasting.
6. Payroll.
7. Capital expenditure appraisals.
8. Post investment reviews.
9. Taxation including preparation of VAT and liaison with external advisors.
10. Developing and maintaining external relationships such as: auditors & taxation specialists, corporate finance advisers, IT support company, Banks & Forex, QA advisers, etc
11. Premises lease management.
12. Input to business management & development issues which may including:
13. Staff recruitments & retrenchments
14. Acquisitions of target companies
15. Divestments of business activities
16. Business development initiatives
17. Business partnerships
18. R&D projects
19. Annual pay reviews
20. Company Secretarial tasks.
Skills and Qualifications:
21. Qualified accountant with prior experience in a senior role (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
22. Previous experience in a comparative position within a company of comparable size/turnover.
23. Ability to demonstrate a hand on approach in previous positions.
24. Ability to build strong and effective relationships with clients and customers quickly and easily.
25. Plenty of drive and enthusiasm with a quick grasp of the commercial realities of the business and an ability to express these implications to the wider company.
26. Previous experience working in a similar industry is highly desirable.

Salary and Benefits:
The role of Finance Director is offered with a salary of £90-£100,000 plus benefits including a profit share related bonus.
