This role
A wayleave agreement is a written agreement between a contractor and MTVH as the property owner. They are needed where a utilities (such as internet) provider has a request to install or repair their equipment inside a property where services are provided to people who aren’t the legal owner of a building, such as a block of flats (for example, providing services to an MTVH tenant).
As a contract officer you will be responsible for co-ordinating and organising the delivery of existing and new wayleaves in order to deliver services to MTVH properties. You will be the main point of contact for external partners and internal stakeholders; managing the relationship and process to ensure timeliness of the process.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee and facilitate wayleave agreements.
2. Manage and coordinate timeframes to conclude the wayleave agreements and escalate any major delays to the business.
3. Develop strong working relationships with the property and compliance teams to ensure on-time delivery for the requested wayleaves.
4. Provide wayleave support, training and guidance to the business where required.
5. Review the wayleave processes and suggest improvements to the business.

What you'll need to succeed
6. Good working knowledge of the regulatory framework governing compliance; repairs; sustainability or planned workstreams that you will be responsible for
7. Experience of working with contractors
8. Organised and prioritises work to meet deadlines in a pressurised customer service environment.
9. Use information gathered to diagnose problems, draw logical conclusions and suggest clear and practical solutions based upon your analysis
10. Experience working with data
11. Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office packages Outlook, Word and Excel
