Data Scientist (Pricing Analyst) (Contract) - Hospitality and Retail Focus
Location: Central London (Close to Bank), 2 days per week
Rate: £400 per day outside ir35
Contract Duration: 3 months
A growing consultancy, specializing in menu optimization and pricing strategies, is seeking a Pricing Analyst to support key projects within the hospitality and retail sectors.
We are looking for an experienced analyst who can develop pricing models, work closely with stakeholders, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement pricing models to optimize menu and product performance.
* Communicate directly with clients, facilitating focus groups and test groups.
* Collaborate with the Head of Product to integrate pricing insights into broader strategies.
* Apply customer and pricing data to enhance business performance.
What We're Looking For
* Experience : Strong background in hospitality, retail, or related industries.
* Skills : Proficient in pricing optimization and customer-focused analytics.
* Tools : Experience using AWS as a platform and working with Python or R.
* Communication : Ability to work directly with customers, run focus groups, and present findings clearly.
Interview Process
* Stage 1: Two quick calls (15-20 minutes each).
* Stage 2: Final interview with a senior team member.
This role is based in Central London, with two days per week in the office (Thursday required).
