Main duties of the job As our new Pharmacy Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include: Work within the onsite pharmacy, based within healthcare Support the Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Manager, as well as the wider healthcare team Label and dispense medications, and prepare prescriptions Second check controlled drugs Contribute to services such as medicine reconciliation, managing stock medicines and transportation of medicines Provide support to ensure a safe and secure medicines management service, following policies, procedures and standard operating procedures Collect orders from the gate Help with supplying medication to the wings If you are interested in career development, we have a wide range of opportunities for you to develop your skills and experience, which include both internal and external options for development and learning.
