Anderson Knight is recruiting a Road Works Coordinator for a well-established client based in West Lothian. Typically, you will be ensuring that the road works projects run smoothly and in compliance with local authority regulations. This role is covering a 9–10-month maternity cover, starting in November with the potential to be extended. Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 (DOE). Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Hybrid working (3 days in the office). Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate and manage road works notices, including raising and administering street works notifications. • Monitor inspection results and ensure timely action is taken. • Prepare and distribute regular roadworks reports (weekly, monthly, and annual). • Liaise with Local Authorities on notice agreements and ensure regulatory compliance. • Provide the Operations Team with utility plant information drawings as needed. • Support project administration and ensure accurate documentation is maintained. Key Skills & Experience: • Prior experience in NRSWA administration within the public or private sector. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). • A good understanding of traffic management plans (desirable). • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work well within a team and independently when needed.
