We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Community Staff Nurse who would relish the opportunity to work within the Lower Annandale Community Nursing Team, delivering quality nursing care to housebound patients 24 hrs per day.
You will be working within an ever changing environment, alongside colleagues in the multidisciplinary Home Team, including Allied Health Professionals, Social Services & Public Health Improvement. The Home Team is integral to our Health and Social Care Partnership.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative, creative, compassionate and collaborative nursing team.
Experience working within a community setting is preferred but not essential.
A Current UK NMC registration is required for this post, and OSCEs cannot be provided for international candidates
You must be able to travel independently as applicants will be required to work across the region, this post involves home visits in remote and rural areas therefore a current driving licence is an essential requirement of this post. However, if you have a disability which precludes you from holding a driving licence, consideration will be given if alternative transport can be arranged.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week for NHS Agenda for Change workers in Scotland from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period, for which you would be paid, until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
