Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Administration Assistant based at University Hospital Crosshouse .
What you will do:
You will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Acute Management Team, promoting the organisation values as well as a positive team image. The role is wide ranging and involves supporting the PA Team with administrative duties in every domain of the role. The role involves setting up processes, development of databases and minute taking.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
1. Educated to SVQ Level III/ECDL in Business/Office Administration or equivalent experience essential.
2. Excellent IT and advance keyboard skills are essential.
3. Proficient in use of Internet.
4. Ability to use own initiative and prioritise workload.
5. Ability to work unsupervised.
6. Confidentiality/discretion/trustworthy.
7. Time management.
8. Excellent communication/organisational skills (verbal, written, literate, numerate and practical).
9. Awareness of Policies/Procedures used by NHS Ayrshire and Arran ie Health & Safety Legislation, data protection policies, waste management policies.
10. Interpersonal skills.
11. Aptitude to learn new skills/advance knowledge by attending training relevant to the post.
12. Previous NHS Administrative experience and an understanding of Microsoft office would be desirable.
