This exciting role is part of a dedicated and friendly team that plays a crucial role in understanding resident's views and ideas on a range of important issues including, the environment, the local economy and health and wellbeing. Your work will make a real difference to the local area, by helping the Council shape services and make better informed decisions, to meet the needs of local people. In this role you will: Carry out high quality research and consultation projects, including scoping and design, fieldwork, analysis, reporting and feedback. Collaborate with services across the Council, providing advice, guidance and support to colleagues on appropriate methods and best practice. Apply robust research and consultation methods, to develop approaches that meet statutory requirements and Council standards. Design engaging and tailored research and consultation materials, to encourage wide participation from all key stakeholders. Analyse quantitative and qualitative data, using appropriate tools and techniques, to deliver key messages and actionable insights. Share findings with a range of audiences, including Senior Officers and Members, to shape plans for services and inform key decisions. Empower services across the Council to deliver impactful research and consultation through the development of an online training hub.
