About the Role
You will work closely alongside the Head of Apprenticeships and Head of Faculty in a variety of tasks and responsibilities, with the core focus being on developing our practices and processes, and continuous improvement of our delivery.
Your duties/responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Oversight for the implementation of the support model to all existing apprenticeship programmes, primarily focusing on compliance, coaching, quality, and skills & behaviours training.
* Undertaking quality assurance activities to identify and implement improvements to the apprenticeship programme.
* Devising processes and policies to streamline delivery and increase focus on learner engagement.
* Providing regular and ad-hoc information to the FI Maidstone Limited Board on the performance, standards, and compliance of apprenticeship programmes.
* Support adherence to legislative and regulatory frameworks to ensure alignment with funding rules for all programmes.
* Managing sub-contracting relationships.
* Managing a small team of Skills & Development Coaches to meet agreed KPIs and maintain a standardised approach to delivery.
* Monitoring and reporting on the progress of learners to the Heads of Department and Board.
* Working with Coaches and Tutors to support intervention plans where learners may fall behind.
* Provide training where needed to support improvement and best practice amongst Coaches and Tutors.
* Oversight and accountability for the EPA process, supporting coaches in ensuring learners are well prepared and ready for their EPA.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Ofsted EIF Handbook and ESFA Funding Rules.
* Work with the wider FI Network as required to share and drive forward best practice in apprenticeship delivery, such as attendance at Quality Network meetings.
* Support in the onboarding of new apprentices and employers, working in collaboration with the administration team and Head of Apprenticeships to engage with new employers and produce planners and pricing schedules.
Key Skills/Experience:
* A very strong understanding of apprenticeships with experience in apprenticeship delivery and quality development/assurance activities.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to team members, directors, and external stakeholders.
* Highly organised with a good eye for detail.
* Analytical mind able to provide timely information.
* The ability to work proactively and innovate business processes and models.
* Ability to cope with and lead within a constantly changing environment.
* Comfortable with working in a small team
