At The Edmund Trust, we are a charity that supports people with learning disabilities across Cambridgeshire.
We are seeking experienced Support Workers to join our team in providing dedicated support for a gentleman based in March, Cambridgeshire.
The gentleman experiences Autism and needs support to organise and manage his day; at times, he may present with challenging behaviour. This gentleman’s support will be 1:1 and 2:1 at different times during the day.
He has a love of gardening, watching football, and shopping. It would be a great plus if you share these interests.
If you have experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health issues, are confident, can help him feel safe, and want to make a difference, this could be right for you.
UK Driving License & sleep-in shifts are essential for this role.
Salary: £26,989.14 per annum (FTE 40 hours per week, pro rata for part-time)
Previous experience is required. The ideal candidate would possess strong communication skills, be a reliable team player, and demonstrate patience.
This role requires working during days, evenings, and weekends, so flexibility is essential.
