Job Description
This position is part of the UK Centre of Excellence (UK CoE) Financial Accounting team. The role involves the provision of support to the UK CoE Financial Controller (FC). The main activities concern preparation of UK CoE management accounts, IFRS 16 lease accounting, intercompany loans and reconciling inter-company balances.
Key Relationships:
Internal: the UK CoE Financial Accounting Department; Department Managers; other departments within the UK CoE; the broader AtkinsRéalis Finance community (including overseas FC's).
External: occasionally AtkinsRéalis suppliers & customers.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of UK CoE management accounts and analysing variances.
2. Preparing budget and forecast information for UK CoE costs.
3. Month end reporting including enrichment and continuity schedules.
4. Prepare journals and reconcile IFRS16 lease accounting entries.
5. Preparing budget and forecast information for IFRS 16 lease accounting.
6. Maintain UK intercompany loans and issue monthly loan summary.
7. Assist with the monthly inter-company reconciliation process.
8. Assistance with the preparation of annual corporation tax packs for 18 statutory companies.
9. Preparation of analysis and reports for Tax, Treasury and Sector Finance departments.
10. Analysis and submission of related party transactions.
11. Preparation of data for the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
12. Supporting the Assistant Accountant in their day to day activities.
Technical and Professional Experience:
* Qualified in a recognised professional accountancy qualification.
* Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including use and set-up of Pivot tables and formulas.
* Experience of an accounting software package.
* Ideally with good working knowledge of Oracle accounting software.

Additional Information:
This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview.
