Our client, a Regional Housebuilder based in the South East, is seeking a Land Director to support their planned business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing sites across Kent, Surrey, and Sussex, acquiring both off-market and agency land with and without planning permission to be used directly or strategically.
Salary:
£80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience
Job Description:
The Land Director will play a key role in driving the company's growth by securing new land opportunities. This will involve identifying and purchasing suitable sites, negotiating with landowners, and managing relationships with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
* Sourcing and acquiring new land sites across Kent, Surrey, and Sussex
* Negotiating with landowners to secure site purchases
* Managing relationships with stakeholders, including agents and local authorities
* Assisting in the preparation of bid documents and submissions
Requirements:
* Degree-level qualification in a relevant field, such as property or construction
* Proven experience in land acquisition or a related field
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
Estimated Salary:
£90,000 per annum (based on industry standards for a Land Director in the South East region)
