The post holder will be one of the team of senior staff and leaders in the Nursing and Integrated Governance Team who will collectively have theresponsibility for enabling corporate and divisional compliance with the national requirements and standards set by the Commissioners, CareQuality Commission, NHS England/Improvement and other regulators. The post holder will provide Quality Governance support across theorganisation. The role has a quality improvement, safety, compliance and assurance focus. The post holder will: Provide leadership and professional advice to managers and staff within the Trust on governance and assurance processes.o Support the delivery of the Trust and Divisional assurance, quality, safety, and governance strategies and agendas which underpin the delivery of the corporate objectives and Trust response to the NHS Long Term Plan.o Be responsible for leading the development, and maintenance of the Divisional Quality Assurance Framework with the senior management team and ensure alignment and compliance with the Trust's overarching policies relating to Integrated Governance Quality Assurance Framework.o With Divisional Directors and Directorate Managers, Senior Nurses and Clinical Leads and the Associate Director of Governance and Assurance ensure that systems are in place to provide assurances, insight foresight and oversight in respect of quality and safety for staff, patients and service users across spheres of responsibility. You will require commitment, passion and motivation in order to fulfil the requirements of this role, in enabling corporate and divisional compliancewith the national requirements and standards set by commissioners, Care quality commission, NHS England and other regulators. The post holderwill provide Quality Governance support across the organisation, with a quality improvement, safety, compliance and assurance focus. You will need excellent organisational skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills to enable you to work with varying levels of managers, clinicians and administrative colleagues.
