Our client, a reputable academy based in Ipswich, Suffolk, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join their thriving Science department. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality Science lessons and make a real impact on student progress and achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the Science curriculum
* Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
* Assess, monitor, and support the progress of all students
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages a love for Science
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practice
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school
* Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics (specialism flexible)
* A commitment to raising student achievement and closing attainment gaps
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for teaching
