We are a family-run business based in Guildford with a team of 16. We offer outsourced HR support to over 140 businesses ranging from healthcare to hospitality and support them with everything from recruitment to redundancies, and everything in between. As an HR administrator, you will work closely with the operations manager and consultants to provide administrative support. The position will offer you a unique experience being exposed to a variety of companies and industries allowing an HR administrator to gain elusive knowledge and experience.
What will you typically be doing?
* Assisting the consultants with general HR administration
* Attending a variety of meetings with consultants at our client’s offices including disciplinaries and grievances and act as witness and note taker
* Running and assisting with recruitment projects – including writing job adverts and conducting telephone interviews to screen candidates
* Generating reports for clients HR health checks
* Manning the office phones
* Creating contracts of employment and handbooks for clients
* Attending employment law seminars to keep up to date with HR regulations
* Managing team diaries
* Filing all client records and documents
* Updating the KPI dashboard

Qualifications and Experience
* Currently enrolled in university working towards a bachelor’s degree
* Available for a 12 months placement as part of an undergraduate degree course
* A keen interest in working in a generalist HR environment and in HR activities.
* Skilled in using MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
* Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
* UK driving licence and a car.
