As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for managing a designated patch of properties, ensuring that tenants receive the support they need to maintain their homes and thrive in their communities. You will work closely with tenants, leaseholders, local authorities, police, and other agencies to create safe and well-maintained environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide housing advice and support to tenants
* Tackle anti-social behaviour, tenancy fraud, and disputes
* Manage tenancy agreements, including shared ownership properties
* Work with vulnerable residents, signposting them to relevant support services
* Conduct property inspections, viewings, and estate monitoring
* Support tenants through major refurbishments and relocation programs
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and GDPR policies
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in housing management
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with tenants and external partners
* Knowledge of safeguarding, tenancy law, and anti-social behaviour policies
* IT proficiency and ability to manage case files effectively
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Be within commuting distance of Surrey / Hampshire
