An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Call Handler to join our CQC rated ‘Outstanding’ Trust, within our Urgent Care Service.
We are a passionate Phlebotomy team dedicated to providing exceptional care.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Call Handler to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for:
• Handling telephone calls from patients.
• Booking appointments for our phlebotomy services.
• Providing excellent customer service and support
Our telephone lines are open 5days a week (Monday – Friday) and closed on weekends and bank holidays.
Free parking when visiting our site is available for our staff.
• To bea central pointof contact by answering all incoming callsfrom patients / carers
• Booking patients into appointments on computer-based software.
• Bookingchildren into theappropriate clinicsandadviseparent/carer of any specific requirements.
• Scheduling appointments efficiently.
• Assistingpatients with their queries and concerns.
• Collaborating with the phlebotomy team to ensure smooth operations

The “must haves” for you to be considered for this role:
• Previous experience of working in a Call Centre environment.
• NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent.
• IT skills and the ability to navigate around various systems and software packages.
• Excellent communication skills
