1. JOB PURPOSE
· Solicit demand and secure profitable sales of materials and services across our line card and service portfolio, consistent with our business competencies, based on structured, regular visits and personal relationships with target customers in assigned territories.
· Manage customer relationships.
· Meet or exceed customer expectations around value, service level and compliance with technical and commercial requirements, facilitating secure, long term commercial relationships.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Solicit demand for the company’s materials and services from current and prospective customers.
· Submit timely and compelling quotes for materials and services, achieving agreed commercial objectives for revenue, margin and risk for each opportunity.
· Secure supporting quotations for adhoc sales of:
o non-catalogue materials and services directly from prospective suppliers (broker directly) or in collaboration with an assigned Customer Servive Specialist or Shared Service Centre Inside Sales Executive, as appropriate; and
o for catalogue materials and services, by reference to our inventory management system.
· Conclude sales consistent with the commercial policies set out by the Regional Sales Director, including target margins, payment & delivery terms.
· Manage day-to-day customer relationships for both adhoc and contract sales.
· Engage with the Regional Strategic Director and Business Intelligence Manager on the quotation of large scale, long term supply or service agreements, transferring responsibility for proposal development and quotation to them based on an assessment of the risk, reward and complexity of the proposal.
· Collaborate in the preparation of proposals / contracts / term agreements for the supply of materials and services, when required.
· Secure the commitment of internal stakeholders in support of quotations, ensuring we can deliver on our commercial and technical offers (eg Finance, Operations).
· Collaborate with the Regional Sales Director in the resolution of commercial, technical and operational disputes with customers over Company performance.
· Assist in developing business strategies to grow and diversify our customer base.
· Regularly visit customers and be present in our target markets on a structured and cost effective basis, favourably influencing customer behaviour to achieve the revenue objectives of our AOP.
· Develop an extensive understanding of our addressable market in assigned territories/countries as the basis of building a sales pipeline, budgets & conversions.
· Work closely with the Regional Sales Director and Business Intelligence Manager in documenting leads and opportunities, enabling collaborative qualification and development of these leads and opportunities between the respective sales teams.
· Task and manage assigned resources at the Shared Service Centre to generate timely Sales Quotations and Sales Orders to meet your customer’s service expectations.
· Remain accountable to the customer for satisfactory fulfilment, maintaining professional communications with the customer regarding the execution of their requirements.
· Meet sales Performance Metrics set by the Regional Sales Director.
· Support the Finance team by expediting outstanding customer payments and resolving related queries.

Aviation experience would be preferred.
Salary: A starting salary of £30,000 plus commission
