Digital Content Creator job profile:
This role is ideal for someone who is creative, outgoing, and eager to get hands-on with the team to produce engaging content that resonates with our audience and champions our sustainability projects, with a focus on Content Creation, Videography/Production and Social Media campaigns.
Key responsibilities of the Digital Content Creator:
1. Design and create compelling digital content, including graphics, videos, and social media posts, that aligns with our brand’s voice and messaging.
2. Develop templates and assets for use across platforms, such as websites, social media, email campaigns, and presentations.
3. Write engaging copy for product launches, PR initiatives, and SEO-optimised website content.
4. Plan, produce, and edit all content, from concept development to final production, ensuring alignment with ongoing campaigns and promotions.
5. Manage content calendars to ensure timely creation and distribution of materials across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
6. Capture high-quality product and lifestyle photography to showcase our products in engaging ways.
7. Oversee outsourced photography projects to ensure consistent brand quality and visual appeal.
8. Work on advanced photography projects, elevating the aesthetic of our brand through innovative techniques.
9. Develop video content that supports storytelling and brand messaging, collaborating with the team for dynamic and engaging outputs.
10. Edit and optimise video content using professional tools, ensuring it is suitable for various digital platforms.
11. Stay informed on trends in video and digital media to create innovative, relevant content.
12. Collaborate with the marketing team to produce creative campaigns that highlight our brand values and sustainability initiatives.
13. Research, identify, and build strong relationships with relevant influencers and brand ambassadors, aligning with our brand values and target audience, while coordinating gifting strategies, tracking campaign performance, and providing insights for future initiatives.
14. Monitor social media channels, engaging with the community and responding to comments and messages in line with our tone of voice.
15. Analyse performance metrics for content engagement and make recommendations for optimisation.
16. Drive our unique sustainability projects, creating content that reflects our commitment to green initiatives.
17. Write press releases and articles to promote our brand story and values to various audiences.
Essential Skills and Experience:
1. Extensive experience in content creation, including photography, videography, graphic design, and multimedia production, with a proven ability to create high-quality, engaging visual content.
2. Advanced portfolio highlighting expertise in lifestyle and product photography, as well as video production, across a wide range of projects.
3. Proficiency in design software and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
4. Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to craft engaging website and PR content.
5. Demonstrated success in SEO-driven content strategies.
6. Experience managing social media channels and content management systems.
7. Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills:
1. Experience using Shopify to manage and optimise e-commerce websites, including managing product content, tags, meta fields, and ensuring consistent formatting.
2. Familiarity with influencer outreach and collaboration.
3. Experience in managing outsourced creative projects.
