The hours for this vacancy are between 15-20 per week
In addition to the contractual hours, it is essential you can provide the following:
* Flexibility to cover staff holiday/sickness, this includes your day off, when required (essential)
* Weekday evening and weekend clinic reception cover may be required; e.g. flu clinics. This would be organised on a pre-planned rota basis.
* Surgeries may also run late due to unforeseen circumstances; therefore, it may be necessary to stay beyond your contracted finish time if this situation arises.
Main duties of the job
The requirements for the role are:
* Previous General Practice experience preferred, but not essential (relevant training would be given)
* Computer literate - SystmOne knowledge advantageous
* Diligence and accuracy essential
* Excellent telephone/customer service skills essential
* Team player who can provide flexibility in hours and duties
* Annual Leave entitlement 5 weeks (pro-rata)

Market Cross Surgery is a dedicated forward-thinking busy practice looking after over 5000 patients. Situated in the delightful village of Corby Glen midway between Stamford, Bourne and Grantham with easy access to the A1 and the main East Coast train line.
Our team includes four GP Partners, one salaried GP who are supported by a multidisciplinary team including nurses, HCAs, dispensers, administrative and clerical staff.

Job Summary
* To act as the main point of contact for patients and visitors attending the Surgery
* To effectively and efficiently communicate with patients and external agencies over the telephone

Qualifications
* Computer Skills - Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.

* GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths or equivalent
