The Role: As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating production equipment, maintaining machinery, and ensuring smooth manufacturing processes. Your role will involve monitoring production output, performing quality checks, and contributing to process improvements to maintain efficiency and safety. Key Responsibilities: Set up production equipment and supplies before executing job orders Operate machinery safely and efficiently to meet production targets Work alongside the engineering team to ensure equipment is well-maintained Inspect machinery to identify malfunctions and carry out necessary repairs Conduct routine maintenance with engineering support to optimise performance Assist junior operators in their assigned duties Follow guidance from the Team Leader to meet operational objectives Evaluate equipment performance and suggest improvements Perform visual quality checks and document machine data Carry out strip and clean procedures on compounding lines Operate forklifts and industrial vehicles to move raw materials and finished goods Adhere to safety regulations and company policies Participate in waste management initiatives Identify and report any unsafe operations Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment Conduct quality testing on manufactured compounds, documenting results and communicating findings to relevant teams Identify non-conforming materials and take appropriate action About You: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualities: Strong production or manufacturing experience Excellent communication skills A results-oriented and self-motivated approach Strong relationship-building abilities Flexibility and adaptability to various tasks A working knowledge of Excel Why Join Our Client?
