We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts.
Duties to include:
1. Ensuring timely, successful, and efficient delivery of products according to customer needs.
2. Effective resolution of site issues before they become problems for the contractor/end client.
3. Maintain a culture of service excellence.
4. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
5. Commercial awareness to maximise profitability without impacting customer satisfaction.
6. Provision of sales information to Finance.
7. Provision of compliance certification to enable project sign off.
8. Maintain accurate programme trackers.
9. Attendance at daily production meetings.
10. Ad hoc duties as requested by Line Manager.
Experience/Skills Required:
1. Proven experience of Account Management/customer service.
2. Project management skills.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills.
4. Works well under pressure and to deadlines.
5. Ability to juggle multiple projects whilst maintaining a sharp attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and listening skills.
7. Proficient in Word, Excel, Microsoft Office, and CRM.
8. Preferable basic contract law knowledge, experience of working with contractors or local authorities, experience of the fire safety industry, building/refurbishment industries.
9. Establish strong working relationships with a wide range of people.
10. Responds positively to requests for help and information.
11. Team focused.
12. Good client-facing skills and the ability to command respect in a meeting.
13. Ability to resolve problems.
14. Strong commercial awareness.
15. Organised and able to meet tight deadlines.
16. Knowledge of the fire safety regulations, specifically related to the installation of fire door sets would be highly advantageous.
Hours of work:
08.30 - 17.30 Monday - Thursday, 08.30 - 17.00 Friday
