What your role is
This role is responsible for Spices/Seasonings/Sauces, Vegetables, Flavors as well as other smaller raw material categories. You will develop and execute strategies and projects that optimize value creation for our Brands for our regional markets (Europe & Australia). Success in this role is dependent on building strong stakeholder influence, effectively leading supplier relationship management activities, building and utilizing best practices to bring process rigor to strategy execution, and ensuring operational excellence in all produced products.
This role gives a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of categories of Raw Materials and projects. You will also help the team coordinate communication on market intelligence to provide sufficient market understanding to our stakeholders. It requires an agile mindset as well as an eagerness to learn different areas of Sourcing.
Your Missions
* Manage following Raw Material categories for our Europe and Australia region: Spices/Seasonings/Sauces, Vegetables, Flavors as well as other smaller raw material categories.
* Deliver Impactful Sourcing Results - Creating Value (Cost Savings, Cost avoidance, Cash improvement) on your own categories.
* In collaboration with our business teams, create appropriate sourcing strategies that Protect our Brands, Optimize Partnership Value, and Accelerate Innovation.
* Develop and manage the business relationship and appropriate contractual arrangement with suppliers.
* Be the day-to-day liaison with suppliers & plants. Assist in resolving disputes, damage or other product claims.
* Establish performance metrics and oversee periodic review processes.
* Visit suppliers when needed to review processes, establish further relationships, and ensure production and quality needs are being met.
* Implement and successfully lead cost improvement initiatives with suppliers & key external partners in support of business goals.
* Additionally, support our team in external pricing certification as part of the Egalim Law.
* Support our team in providing market view communications to our business. Setting up decks and preparation for ad hoc communications.
What you will bring to the team
Required Skills/Experience
* Sourcing expertise Experience: minimum 6+ years of experience.
* Knowledge and experience in similar CPGs.
* Strong learning agility so that you can quickly on-board new portfolios/businesses.
* Excellent communication skills to collaborate across various functions both internally and externally.
* Strong project management expertise.
