We are looking for a highly motivated Registered Nurse with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work on Ward 2. To provide high standards of nursing care for the patients and carers known to our service.
You will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of high quality, effective, and compassionate nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating of holistic and individualised care. This will be in line with local, Trust wide and national policies, procedures, values and behaviours.
The unit has 14 beds and provides care to patients at the end of life. Demonstrable post registration experience is essential and experience in palliative care or working with patients at the end of life would be desirable.
The area offers a 2 week supernumerary period on commencement of post, and full support and training within a newly established team.
You will be required to work rotationally on day/night shifts.
