As a Family Early Help Practitioner, you’ll be a driving force behind Southwark Children’s & Adult’s Services, contributing to an ‘outstanding’ Family Early Help service. This is your chance to make an impact that lasts, helping families create brighter futures and stronger communities.
The role:
1. Empower Families in Need: Work directly with families facing challenging situations to provide early intervention support. You'll be the key to opening new pathways, helping prevent issues from escalating and making a significant, positive impact on children’s lives.
2. Be the Catalyst for Change: Engage with children and families, offering hands-on guidance and creating customized, actionable plans that align with their unique needs. From encouraging positive parenting to fostering school attendance and community involvement, your role will drive sustainable, meaningful change.
3. Lead and Inspire: As the lead professional, you'll connect with every family member, building a comprehensive support plan that encourages and enables safe, supportive environments. You'll be at the forefront of creating positive transformation for each family you work with, guiding them toward resilience and independence.
4. Support Families on Their Journey: Work closely with families who have completed statutory interventions, ensuring their progress continues as they transition to new goals. Your support will be essential in maintaining their momentum and setting them up for long-term success.
