Location: Leeds Office (Projects predominantly in Yorkshire, with occasional nationwide travel)

About the Role:
Keyman Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager for an exciting opportunity with our client. This role is based out of their Leeds office, overseeing projects primarily across Yorkshire, with some nationwide travel required.
The successful candidate will manage projects across various sectors, including:

MOJ (Ministry of Justice) – Prisons, Courts, and Justice Facilities
*
Healthcare – Hospitals, Clinics, and Medical Facilities
*
Education – Schools, Colleges, and Universities
Key Responsibilities:
*
Oversee mechanical projects from inception to completion.
*
Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules.
*
Ensure health & safety compliance across all sites.
*
Provide technical leadership with a strong knowledge of HVAC systems.
*
Manage client relationships and act as the main point of contact.
*
Work with direct and subcontract labour, ensuring smooth project delivery.
*
Maintain cost control and financial oversight, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
*
Collaborate with the estimation team when required.
*
Use IT and project management tools to streamline operations.
Key Requirements:
✅ Project Management experience in Mechanical Building Services.
✅ HVAC technical knowledge – strong understanding of mechanical installations.
✅ Financial & commercial acumen – ability to manage budgets and costs.
✅ Client-facing skills – excellent communication and relationship-building.
✅ Health & Safety expertise – ability to enforce site safety regulations.
✅ IT proficiency – comfortable using project management and reporting tools.
✅ Labour Management – experience managing both direct employees and subcontractors.
✅ Estimating experience (desirable but not essential).
