At the core of our mission is enhancing the lives of individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs, driven by collaboration, compassion, and understanding. No two days are the same in this role, some days are steadyand others are hectic trying to fit everything in. You may have to juggle round appointments but that is the challenge and that is what makes the role interesting and gives you job satisfaction. On a day-to-day basis you will support with: Socialising and attending community activities, promoting hobbies & interests. Providing physical support, including helping with household tasks and personal care. Supporting with life skills, such as shopping and money management. Delivering individual support plans. Please be aware its a criminal offence for people who are barred from working in Regulated Activity (under the Safeguarding and Vulnerable Groups Act 2006) to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with that particular group such as adults or children.
