Head of Finance needed in Blackburn
The rate is £36.47ph PAYE

The successful candidate will be required to attend the office 3 days per week. There is flexibility around when they need to be there for appointments and personal matters, however, presence is required.
They must be a qualified accountant and must display evidence of significant recent experience within Adult Social Care finance at a senior level.
Our client is looking for a qualified, talented, motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic accountant to join an Adults & Health Directorate and take responsibility for leading Adult Care Finance and Performance teams. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Local Authority finance professional with the right value base and preferably Adult Social Care experience, to join a senior leadership team and help take our services to the next level.
The successful applicant will play a vital role in supporting the development of social care and public health services, offering inspiring leadership to our teams and influencing the strategic direction of our services linked to regulatory and business plan requirements. We are on an improvement journey and have brought together a range of services including commissioning, finance, and performance, which with your expertise, will support the Directorate to operate within budgets and evidence compliance with a range of regulated activities.
