Job Title: Minor Works Manager CBRE Global Workplace Solutions, leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management, are recruiting a Minor Works Manager for a prestigious client in Bristol. Purpose Of The Job Overall responsibility for delivery of minor work across a large, manufacturing estate client portfolio, including full site responsibility/ownership, health and safety, day to day management on site of all contractors and on time delivery. Work closely with CBRE Projects to deliver against mutually agreed framework and develop lasting relationships internally and throughout the supply chain. Communicate to Account Manager, Senior Leadership and client teams as work progresses, ensuring the highest standard of communications at all times. Key Responsibilities 1.Delivery of small projects and minor works in line with QHSE regulations and standards. 2.Identify and generate additional works or variations to achieve commercial targets. 3.Develop strong relationships with key customers. 4.Strengthen local supply chain partner relationships 5.Work with contract teams regards safe delivery and handover. 6.Manage all works fully compliant with minor works framework. 7.Manage day to day site activity. 8.Manage reporting and client communications on live works. 9.Ensure all works are managed and delivered in line with commercial terms and agreed KPI's. 10.Manage contractors in order to achieve programme in a safe manner. Accountabilities -Accountability to the Account Manager -Manage delivery against agreed Minor Works Framework -Manage and deliver project safely and in line with regulatory and business requirements. -Manage and deliver principal projects as per programme -Manage meetings and reporting Person Specification Education -Recognised technical qualification in Construction, Mechanical or Electrical or similar Training -Compliant with the CBRE training matrix for Project/Site Supervisor for QHSE (training provided if not held) -Business standard of written and verbal literacy and numeracy -APM (desirable) -CDM regulations training -SMSTS certified -Nebosh (desirable) -CSCS black card holder -IOSH (desirable) Experience -Minimum of 5 years proven Supervisory experience in an M&E, FM, construction, or critical environment -Demonstrable evidence of having managed a team -Proven experience of running a P&L (desirable) Aptitudes -Interpersonal and communication skills -Strong influencing skills -Ability to inspire confidence -Can manage a high degree of variability -High degree of integrity -Highly motivated and self-aware -Highly organised with attention to detail -Results focused Character -Excellent motivational and influencing skills, with high levels of personal integrity -Has vision, and able to communicate this effectively.
