Description We are looking for a Finance Administrator to join our team, to support with the taking of customer calls and assisting with payments. Corserv Care are one of the largest care companies in Cornwall and a Cornwall Council owned company dedicated to improving the quality of the care in Cornwall. We have a fantastic finance team working out of modern offices in Bodmin and some hybrid working from home. We have on-site parking and are on the main bus routes. We will consider either a full time or part time finance administrator and we are interested in discussing our opportunity with you. The Finance Team supports the Corserv Care division and aims to provide a finance service to the care service areas of STEPS, Care & Support, Lifeline and Assisted Living, Employment Services, Day Opportunities and Respite Services. What you’ll be doing: Covering the phones for incoming and outgoing calls between core hours and on a rota basis. Receiving and dealing with customer/family queries about their invoices, escalating issues/problems and adding appropriate notes to our system. To ensure the chasing cycle is performed according to the monthly schedule, by contacting customers regarding unpaid invoices and to maintain an accurate schedule of outstanding/overdue invoices. To ensure that adequate records are kept so your colleagues can deal with day to day AR duties. To support the debt collection team as required. To raise and resolve queries with Council colleagues, ensuring Purchase Orders are received/used correctly. Your benefits at Corserv Care: Competitive Rates of Pay : £12.00 per hour Contract: Permanent Hours: Full time 37 hours per week with two/three days working in the office, or Part time circa 30 hours per week with two/three days working in the office. Rota hours are negotiable between 8:30am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday. Office base: Council office, Chy Trevail, Bodmin, PL31 2FR. Annual Leave: 31 days (including Bank Holidays). This is pro-rata for part time working patterns. Option to buy extra leave.
