Colleague Benefits Analyst– Salary circa £50,000
We have an exciting opportunity in our Group Reward Team within the Aviva People Function as a Colleague Benefits Analyst.
You’ll be relied upon for specific pension, benefits, and wellbeing insights (including bringing the outside in with external data sources and your experience of developments that impact employers). You’ll use your technical knowledge for comprehensive data interrogation and analysis relating to all types of colleague benefits. You’ll collate and interpret data from varied internal and external sources (including from a range of suppliers) to identify trends and provide insights (this will include external market reviews and benchmarking).

A bit about the job:
You’ll be pivotal to a range of different benefit activities including some regulatory obligations (for example – UK pension automatic enrolment, reporting of benefits metrics to relevant Boards, benefit data refreshes, supplier data governance processes and more). More generally, you’ll evaluate the performance and efficiency of a wide range of benefits (including how our colleagues use and interact with benefits). This will drive decisions about how we evolve our colleague value proposition and engage colleagues with better understanding the benefits available to them.
You’ll be responsible for managing efficient data processes across the full range of benefits available to UK colleagues (including UK & Ireland wellbeing). You’ll identify opportunities and own updates to internal processes and with our suppliers. You’ll also proactively collaborate with colleagues in the wider People Function, Group Reward, and the business (including Ireland and Canada) to share best practice and build One Aviva solutions where possible.
You’ll support the Colleague Health & Wellbeing Manager and Colleague Pensions & Benefits Manager who will rely on you to make sure decisions relating to our benefits strategy are data led and continue to meet our colleagues’ diverse needs. The role requires strong relationship management skills, attention to detail and innovative thinking.
You’ll use your expertise to communicate complex data sets and insights clearly, adapting to different audiences including senior leaders and benefit suppliers. You’ll be an integral part of a team focused on maximising spend as well as value for colleagues and Aviva.
The role requires collaboration with a network of internal and external teams (for example – people analytics, people data governance, payroll, tax, procurement, legal, communications, benefit suppliers and more). You’ll resolve issues, in a risk considered way.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
* Highly proficient in reviewing and interpreting data from multiple internal and external sources and identifying trends.
* Comprehensive data analysis with the ability to articulate compelling insights (always relevant to the context).
* A technical understanding of reward (preferably with experience in a large organisation), and the colleague and commercial impact decisions based on data insights may have.
* Robust understanding of governance of employee data, and experience of risk mitigation and management.
* Organised and diligent with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time, prioritise and work under own initiative, while still being part of a team.

* Salary circa £50,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
