We are looking for our new Associate Director of Facilities to lead a complete range of Facilities Management functions (soft FM) as part of our growing UHS subsidiary, UHS Estates Limited (UEL)
Please note UEL does not hold a Home Office Workers Licence and therefore unable to offer sponsorship.
You will be a key contributor to our senior management team within UEL and UHS. With your acute healthcare leadership skills, you will be responsible for the delivery of a high-quality FM service, ensuring compliance with statutory and mandatory obligations and the maintenance of professional standards. You will also contribute to the strategic leadership of UEL, delivering to targets and continuous improvement in a dynamic, changing environment.
Importantly, you will live and demonstrate behaviours that meet both UEL and UHS’ Values: Patients First, Always Improving, Working Together. You will inspire, develop and support every one of us to live these values - every patient, every colleague, every day.

We believe that using technology wisely shows strong time management and commitment to innovation. However, personalizing your recruitment application to highlight your unique skills and experiences is crucial. Relying too heavily on generic, AI-generated content instead of drawing from your own strengths and accomplishments may lead to your application being rejected if multiple candidates present identical or similar information.
At UHSwe’re committed to providing a flexible working environment where possible. Whether you are balancing family, study, or your wellbeing with your career, we want to support you so you can help our patients.
At UHS, we proudly champion individuality, recognizing that outstanding care is only possible with a diverse, inclusive team. We’re committed to creating an anti-racist, anti-discriminatory environment where everyone feels valued, safe, and empowered to make a meaningful impact in our communities. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences to join us in building a healthcare community where everyone can belong, thrive, and contribute.

With excellent stakeholder engagement skills, you will work with partners across UEL, UHS and Hampshire and Isle of Wight ICB to ensure resources support the provision of professional, safe and high-quality services.
With your compassionate leadership skills, you will lead the UEL soft FM teams, ensuring your team delivers safe effective services to patients, including the annual patient improvement objectives.
