Assistant Planning Volunteer (Eyes and Ears - Lancaster)
We’re passionate about making the countryside in Lancashire, the Liverpool City Region, and Greater Manchester a better place for everyone to enjoy. Our vibrant team of volunteers inspires people to care for and enjoy the benefits of the countryside wherever they live.
Volunteering with us is a fantastic way to help us champion environmental issues such as the climate emergency, renewable energy, biodiversity, and sustainable transport.
With your support, we can do even more! Planning support volunteers have an essential role in monitoring and preparing responses to planning applications and appeals that have an impact on the countryside. We are looking for a volunteer to cover the Lancaster area. The role is home-based and flexible to fit in with your commitments, with optional attendance at our monthly planning meetings, which normally take place online.
Our friendly team will provide you with training and support to develop in your role. You’ll gain valuable skills and experience in the planning process for a range of different developments.
