The Role As Sales & Events Manager, you’ll be making all the difference to the business, so we want you to bring your dynamic personality to work with you every day. You’ll be replying enquiries, dealing with proposals and contracts, closing agreements, and delivering excellence to all of our customers and clients. You will be required to m anage sales forecasting and budgeting. Excellent communication skills both written and spoken are an essential. Knowledge of Opera and Thynk is preferred, although full training will be given to the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Develop, own and execute strategies to drive sales and hit the monthly budget Sell with impact and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients Manage, mentor, and develop the sales team to meet performance targets and drive results Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to ensure targets are met Administration duties including writing proposals, commission tracker, contracts, and invoicing Being able to convert bookings efficiently Creating functions sheets Prepare and lead internal meetings to go through sales performance Site visits and show arounds for clients and agents Be proactive and aware of the fast pace environment About you: Previous experience as a Sales manager A proven track record in securing new business and driving revenue growth Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a desire to help others succeed Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and sales reporting A proactive and strategic mindset, always looking for opportunities to drive results An entrepreneurial attitude with desire to grow Who we are Harbour Hotels are a collection of prestigious hotels nestled in some of the most beautiful locations across the South.
