Job Title: KS1 Teacher Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £150 - £180 Per day Job Description Job Duties: Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Key Stage 1 students Assess and record student progress, providing feedback to students and parents/guardians Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate curriculum delivery Attend meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions as required Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment frameworks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Previous experience teaching Key Stage 1 students Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students Strong organisational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education Experience working in a multicultural or diverse school environment Knowledge of current educational trends and pedagogical approaches Working Conditions: Full-time temporary position with regular school hours Work may involve standing for extended periods and some lifting of classroom materials Collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional development All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
