We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Income Officer to join our successful in-house Homes Plus Client Services Team on a full time, fixed term basis to cover maternity leave. We're looking for a dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services.
The role
As our Income Officer, you will monitor payments and ensure rent arrears are managed in line with our policies and procedures. You will monitor tenant arrears and credits whilst taking appropriate action in line with procedures and timescales. You will thrive on providing excellent customer service and have the skills to negotiate confidently with the ability to build strong relationships.

What skills and experience we are looking for:
* CIH Level 3 Certificate in Housing Practice, or other relevant qualification and equivalent experience (desirable)
* Experience of providing excellent customer service
* Experience and knowledge of housing legislation and welfare benefits, and best practice regarding Income and Court processes
* Experience of working in a team environment
* Ability to think ahead and be pro-active on behalf of customers and the organisation
* Ability to generate own ideas and develop others ideas
* Actively consults and listens to others
* Shows commitment to customer care and equal opportunities
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to vehicle for business use (essential)
