Job summary The Safeguarding Practitioner is an experienced specialist practitioner with in-depth knowledge of adults at risk and child protection and advanced analytical skills for safeguarding acquired through specialist courses and experiential learning from interagency work. Main duties of the job The main purpose of this post is to primarily work with the Safeguarding Childrens function of the team however there is an aspiration for practitioners to be able to work across both adult and children's functions in the future. The adult and children's safeguarding teams are based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital but have responsibility for working with acute and community services provided, which will therefore require travel trustwide. Degree related to professional role or extensive relevant experience and willingness to undertake further education Experience of delivering training.
