Job Description
Make your mark as a Shift Supervisor (DSV) for Boskalis Subsea Services, on behalf of Ultimate Marine Solutions Limited! The Shift Supervisor (DSV) has the responsibility for a safe, efficient and successful operations on a Diving Support Vessel and will ensure that the specifications of the project are met within local legislation, Boskalis standards, industry guidelines and best practices, and client requirements. You will coordinate and supervise the safe and efficient execution of project operations according to project procedures, business processes and industry best practice. Further, it is your duty to proactively support and coach personnel to uphold a high-performing culture aimed at achieving the safety goal of No Injuries, No Accidents (NINA).
Your responsibilities as a Shift Supervisor (DSV):
The main responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to;
* Primarily responsible for the safe, efficient and timely execution of project work scopes in accordance with the contract and project procedures ensuring compliance with local and international guidelines and legislation, reporting to the Offshore Construction Manager.
* Ensure that all operations are supervised and that all procedures and control measures are being adhered to. A particular focus will be on back deck and quayside operations but will also include Diving, ROV, mobilization activities along with other Vessel/marine related operations.
* Raise and chair regular meetings for the Project Team. These will include project briefings, toolbox talks, Level two HIRA / Risk Assessment reviews, Safety meetings & NINA start up meetings.
* Identification of the Management of change process, incident reporting and investigation in accordance with the BMS processes and procedures.
* Prior to and during operations, ensure that Risk Assessment and toolbox meetings are being conducted and recorded in accordance with company requirements with participation by relevant members of the project team.
* Ensure that any operation is covered by a risk assessment and that risk assessments are reviewed and updated where required. Ensure Implementation of the risk control measures identified during the risk assessment process.
Qualifications
You can make your mark as a Shift Supervisor (DSV) if you have:
* OPITO approved BOSIET with CA-EBS, MIST (for UKCS only) and OGUK Medical.
* 7 years’ experience in the position of Bell Diving Supervisor.
* IMCA Logbook – last 12 months work experience verification.
* Demonstrated competence at the grade of IMCA D02 Bell Diving Supervisor (valid and current IMCA Company Member Competence Certificate or IMCA Logbook and personal CV with work history to date.
* Competence Assessor Training plus Management and/or Leadership Training (desirable).
* IMCA Diving Supervisor CPD.
* Air and Bell Diving Supervisor Certificates – IMCA recognised certification.

* Where you will work: You will work on our designated DSV.
* Full/part- time job: The position of Shift Supervisor (DSV) is a permanent role and will be offered on a Guaranteed Days Contract basis.
