Experienced Insurance Sales Consultant\nLocation: Northampton\nSalary: £23,300–£28,000 DOE, OTE circa £30,000–£34,000\nHours: 37.5 per week\n\nMonday–Friday 9:00 – 17:30\nOne Saturday in four, 9:00 – 13:00This is a great opportunity for a personable insurance professional to join a UK Leading, Award Winning Insurance provider within their busy new-business team with. Working from the Northampton office, the successful candidate will handle inbound enquiries generated by active marketing campaigns, as well as outbound calls to prospects who have requested contact online. You’ll assess each customer’s needs and recommend the most suitable insurance solutions, to secure renewals and new policies for the year ahead.\n\nOur client offers genuine career progression opportunities for those seeking to further their career.\n\nKey Duties\n\nHandle inbound calls from prospects generated by marketing campaigns and respond promptly to telephone, email and online enquiries.\nConducts outbound calls to customers who have requested contact via e-commerce sites or email.\nAssesses each client’s insurance requirements and presents tailored quotations across our client’s insurance product range.\nAdvises on policy features, cover options and premium calculations to secure new business and renewals.\nMeets and exceed individual sales targets through proactive upselling and cross-selling where appropriate.\nAccurately record all customer interactions, policy details and transaction data in the CRM\nIssues client care letters, policy documents and renewal reminders in line with regulatory requirements\nEnsure full compliance, data-protection regulations and company policies at all times.\nLiaise with underwriters, brokers and other third parties to resolve underwriting queries and facilitate smooth policy placements.\nMonitor pipeline activity and follows up on outstanding quotations and renewals to maximise conversion rates.The candidate\n\nProven experience within an insurance environment, ideally including policy sales.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nStrong numeracy, literacy and keyboard proficiency\nA positive, outgoing demeanour with genuine empathy for customers\nA proactive mindset and ‘can do’ attitude, ready to meet and exceed targets.\nIntegrity, discretion and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer care
