There will be an expectation for the Peer Support Navigator to independently travel across Greater Manchester.
The Greater Manchester Children’s and Young People’s Positive Health Pathways Team is part of a Greater Manchester wide multi-disciplinary pathway working collaboratively with the children and young people in contact with the criminal justice system, SARC and secure welfare provision. Through a trauma informed and biopsychosocial model of care, the service facilitates assessment; joint care planning; intervention and evaluation of outcomes.
The team aims to support the children and young people in understanding and making informed decisions about their health and wellbeing, offering access to opportunities that can contribute to breaking the cycle of offending and building resilience.
Main duties of the job

4. Focus on strengths rather than deficits, taking a child-focussed and centred approach.
5. Take a trauma-informed approach to care.

A candidate may utilise the help of AI when writing job applications. We have added a disclaimer to our application process advising that the use of AI is monitored. GMMH reserves the right to follow up with a candidate at the interview on specific responses and those examples used in the supporting statement to explore it further.
